Alison brings a solid background of broad, differentiated experiences to her position as president of AlisonCompany. She began her career recruiting in sales and quickly established herself as an exceptional recruiter with the unique ability to establish profitable new business. Later, Alison joined a recruitment firm focusing solely on financial services. She immediately became a leader, expanding the firm’s client base and scope, resulting in a near tripling of sales in Alison’s first full year. She became partner and continued to build on her success, establishing lasting client and candidate relationships and cementing her reputation as a savvy business partner and astute recruiter.

Alison’s reputation for excellence grows from her acute ability to listen, to strategize, and to shoot straight. With a unique combination of candor and insight, Alison knows how to dig deep and ask the right questions. Firmly holding to the belief that everybody has an interesting story to tell, she enjoys building relationships and making connections with clients, candidates and industry

   

associates. Alison understands her clients and embraces the opportunity to offer them valued solutions. Her colleagues describe her as someone who is inquisitive, interesting, knowledgeable and fun to be around.

When she’s not working, Alison is likely to be found fostering her adventurous spirit. She is an avid runner, competing in college for the University of South Florida, then the University of Minnesota and later professionally for ASICS West in Los Angeles, California. A risk-taker at heart, Alison enjoys rock climbing, surfing, and traveling to uncharted destinations around the world. Alison graduated from the University of Minnesota with a major in kinesiology and minor in photography. This thoughtful blend of creativity, competitiveness, and business acumen makes Alison insanely passionate about everything she does.

Alison resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her husband and children. Alison volunteers at a variety of youth sporting events. She is also a member of the University of Minnesota Athletic Alumni Association and sponsors various charitable organizations including the YWCA, the University of Minnesota Women’s Track and Cross-Country program, and The Patrick Comer Courage Foundation “Racing for Courage” Triathlon Team (www.comercourage.com).

 


 

Anne Marie Lynch

Vice President of Research and Recruiting

Anne Marie Lynch brings a vast background of financial services experience and a unique grasp of the inner workings of an organization -- clearly understanding needs, roles, products, distribution and market-place challenges. This broad range of experience enables her to relate to the challenges both employers and job seekers face in today’s financial services marketplace.

Anne Marie has spent her entire professional career working in the financial services industry. She began at Monarch Resources, the number one provider of single premium variable life insurance in Merrill Lynch and other key broker/dealers. After being recruited from Monarch, she spent fourteen years in various sales/distribution roles at ING -- Golden American. Her responsibilities included internal sales management, marketing, product and project management, and director of national accounts. She began working as a key member in a start-up environment –- establishing and managing both the sales desk and national accounts -- that developed into a well-seasoned, mature organization. Throughout her tenure, Anne Marie was a tireless contributor and a constant, reliable and creative resource for the sales organization, its distribution partners, and the broader organization.

Following ING, Anne Marie joined a recruitment firm focusing on financial services. She transferred her industry knowledge and contacts into a successful recruiting practice along with establishing universal research practices. These experiences provided Anne Marie with a solid, deep network in the financial services industry along with a wealth of business knowledge ranging from product and compliance to sales and relationship management.

   

In addition to her extensive knowledge and experience, Anne Marie has embraced a strong work ethic and professionalism throughout her career. She approaches each project with commitment and insight, insuring the complete satisfaction of both clients and candidates.

Anne Marie is passionate about working with organizations that help children such as Save the Children and UNICEF, along with other charitable organizations such as the Jimmie Fund, American Cancer Society, and the YMCA. She is a member of Women to Women International and an alumnae member of the Delta Gamma Fraternity.

A sports-enthusiast by nature, Anne Marie has long followed New England teams including the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, and at times, even the Boston Bruins. Formerly on competitive swimming, basketball and tennis teams, Anne Marie now enjoys more contemplative activities like yoga and meditation. When she’s not working, Anne Marie enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling and reading. She is currently working her way through a collection of one-hundred “Top Novels of the 20th Century.”
