AlisonCompany Named Corporate Sponsor of Comer Courage FoundationFoundation created in the memory of former AlisonCompany client and friend MINNEAPOLIS (April 21, 2008) AlisonCompany was recently named a corporate sponsor of the Comer Courage Foundation, an organization established in honor of Patrick Comer by his good friend Chris Fiacco. The foundation’s mission is to seek ways to ease the tremendous emotional and financial burden on those faced with cancer and to promote greater overall awareness of the disease. Alison Stauber placed wholesaler Patrick Comer at MainStay Investments in 2005, knowing that it would be a perfect match for both parties. Patrick made an immediate impact on the ailing territory and quickly become one of MainStay’s top wholesalers. Pat was a huge win for the company. Unfortunately, after only six months on the job, Pat was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After a valiant fight, Patrick lost his battle with cancer on March 9, 2008. “Patrick was the most energetic, enthusiastic wholesaler I have ever come across,” said Alison Stauber, president of AlisonCompany. “I was devastated when Pat informed me of his diagnosis; he was one of the most vibrant people I knew. Patrick lives in the memory of all who knew him and continues today to inspire all of us to live life to the fullest.” For more information or to make a donation to The Comer Courage Foundation, please visit www.comercourage.org.
